Technical specifications
Seal ensuring IP44 protection rating.
Suitable for all flush-mounted switch and push-button inserts in the 500 series, SCHUKO® sockets with covers, rotary switches and timer switch inserts. It is fully compatible with all devices, covers and frames bearing the blue ‘IP44’ marking, although in some cases it requires an additional seal as specified in the product description.
Note: ‘Socket with cover’ is the common term in Czech for a socket with a spring-loaded cover (hinged cover). According to the manufacturer ABB/Busch-Jaeger, the 551 WU is a sealing kit (diaphragm) for IP44 protection rating.
